Process Leader - Production
The Process Leader Production is responsible for directing and coordinating
all shift activities to optimize quality, efficiency, customer commitments
and safety throughout the facility.
The position is based in Sikeston, Missouri Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work
visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Process Leader Production you will:
- Be responsible
for supervising shift personnel and their associated functions.
- Provide
leadership, vision and direction to employees and builds morale and
drives towards achievement of productions goals and targets.
- Drive
performance improvements through the continuous improvement / WCM (World
Class Manufacturing) process and implement improvement measures through
loss reduction.
- Supervise
30-35 production employees and set priorities with Maintenance
Technicians if more than one machine is broken down
- Perform
administrative tasks to support employees
- Serves as
first line manager to employees, including performance reviews and
disciplinary action (e.g., improvement plans); for off-shift
Technicians, work with other Process Leaders to carry these duties out
(i.e., management is indirect)
- Serves as the
Plant Manager if on-site during off shifts
Who you are
We believe you have:
- High School
Diploma / Associate´s Degree
- 5 – 7 years experience in leadership roles or related
experience
- Intermediate
computer skills (Microsoft office suite: PP, Excel, Word, email, Sharepoint, Teams)
- Excellent
communication skills
- Availability
to work 3rd shift and occasional weekends if required
