& key responsibilities) The IFS Program Manager, Food Safety Compliance
will be responsible for creating, sustaining, cultivating, and communicating
our food safety program and enhanced safety culture. This includes digesting
food safety audit data generated by our global kitchens, warehouses, and
suppliers to drive increased awareness and compliance. The IFS Manager, Food
Safety Compliance will play an integral role in the development and
maintenance of our educational platforms and tools for On-board Service
leaders, kitchen teams and frontline flight attendants as well as assist with
the day-to-day operation of the program.
Required to lead food safety dialog discussions with cross-divisional, cross
functional teams
Must develop and execute educational initiatives to drive consistent
compliance by caterers, leaders, and frontline employees
Partner with Supply Chain Management to design and implement food safety
tools to support both frontline employees and leaders
Effectively work with outside vendors, restaurants, and third
party catering companies to seek quick food safety solutions in a time
sensitive environment
Participate in food safety council meetings and forums to gain feedback and
provide clarity and program direction
Manage day to day relationships with strategic partners
Develop tactical plans to enhance food safety practices across multiple
caterer groups for a unified approach
Partner with Medina Quality to ensure timely scheduling of global facility
audits
Drive consistent flash audit cadence with system facilities in partnership
with OBS leadership
Partner with OCC Catering desk team to ensure timely follow up on all
on-board food contamination concerns and resolution What you need to succeed
(minimum qualifications)

High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
Self-starter and fully competent in optimizing ones own capacity
Demonstrate openness, flexibility, and self confidence in unique situations
Eager to learn and understand QSAI food safety standards governing our global
Delta facilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
3+ years of relevant work experience What will give you a competitive edge
(preferred qualifications)
Bachelors Degree or 5 plus years of relevant
experience
Having a current HACCP certificate
Having a current SERV Safe certificate and or culinary background
Excels in managing work and timelines
Experience working in Deltas field operations and understanding our station
