Full-time County Contractual with Benefits Date Posted: 1.1.22
Location: 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401 Salary:
Benefits: Participation in the county’s group health plan (including
dental, optical and prescription), paid holidays, annual and sick leave. The
selected employee may also participate in the county’s deferred compensation
program at his or her own expense. Nature of Work: This position conducts inspections and investigations for
the promotion of environmental health, for the protection of the environment
and for the enforcement of State and local environmental health codes, laws
and regulations. Field inspections and/or investigations are conducted on
food service facilities with follow-up action, as necessary. Minimum Qualifications Specialist I: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or
university with major course work in biological, environmental or physical
sciences. Must possess a Certificate of Eligibility to be licensed as
a Registered Environmental Health Specialist from the Maryland State Board of
Environmental Health Specialists. To apply for certificate go to:

sciences. Must possess a License as a Registered Environmental Health
Specialist from the Maryland State Board of Environmental Health Specialist. Valid non-commercial Class C motor vehicle operator’s
