Overview:
We are looking for future leaders for our Food Safety Team that are
passionate about food safety, cleaning, and facility management. We provide
exceptional training and an accelerated career path.
Our Food Safety Team is responsible for managing our production facility
where over 80 local food businesses produce food and beverage products sold
across the country. The role is to ensure the highest standards of food
safety and organization are maintained by our team and the businesses
operating within our space. We always insist on excellence!

You Will:
- Maintain organization of our facility to
promote operational efficiency and food safety
- Work closely as a team to accomplish all
facility cleaning tasks
- Support the operational elements of
running a successful production facility, including cleaning and
equipment maintenance
- Develop leadership skills around managing
processes and people
- Learn how to manage a facility that
supports the local DC food ecosystem

Requirements:
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 30 pounds. For example, a
tub of dishes and trash bins.
As needed climb ladders, stairs, ramps and uneven floor and/or surfaces. For
example, go up and downstairs and ramps to storage areas.
As needed squat, bend, twist and reach for items below waist level or above
shoulders. For example, you may have to bend down or reach up to trays and
towels.
Use of hands to reach, grip, turn and perform precision work. You’re using
your hands to do things like mopping floors, perform deep cleaning on our
equipment, machines and spaces, (among other responsibilities).
