opportunity for a passionate, forward-thinking pro to help provide
outstanding vision and leadership for our Food & Beverage operations.
What you get to do:
We’re looking for an inspirational, solutions-driven individual with advanced
knowledge of food safety and HAACP standards. You’ll ensure Service
Attendants and Supervisors consistently execute our plans. We’ll rely on you
to ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to and oversee inspections
and audits. This position requires an individual who is capable of
motivating, educating, training and inspiring ambassadors. You will:
- Assist and manage all SeaWorld Culinary
locations in the compliance and execution of our Food Safety policies
and system in accordance with FDA, HACCP, and all other appropriate
regulatory guidelines
- Conduct training and proctors for Food
Manager Certification and ensure proper food handling training is being
completed for all culinary ambassadors and leaders
- Create and manage HACCP operations at all
food service locations
- Conduct and oversee internal food safety
inspections and audits
- Conduct and manage investigations
regarding food related illness complaints and ambassador safety; provide
detailed reporting to senior leadership
- Submit and manage corrective actions to
locations not meeting food safety/HACCP standards and work with facility
leadership to ensure compliance
- Manage recordkeeping and data tracking of
food safety and safety data
- Serve as liaison for regulatory
inspections and maintain inspection results
- Work in tandem with culinary leadership
on recipe standardization and activities related to nutrition and
allergen programs
- Collaborate with the procurement team to
resolve food safety issues relating to food and beverage products
- Daily oversight and development of team
while maintaining high levels of cleanliness and a safe environment for
ambassadors and guests
- Collaborate and establish relationships
with other departments to ensure business needs are being met
- Maintain expense budgets as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent
required; college degree preferred
- Must have 3 years
experience of food safety management and auditing experience
- Must have or be able to obtain National
Restaurant Association Education Foundation Serve Safe Food Safety
Manager’s Certification
- Must be able to complete provided RCS
Responsible Vendor Training (alcohol) & CPR training
- Excellent knowledge of food handling
techniques and be comfortable and able to work with all food types,
including food allergens in any dining facility
- Must possess strong leadership skills and
have the ability to develop and lead others
- Must have excellent communications skills
(both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with ambassadors,
guests, and leadership
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Must have or be able to obtain valid
driver’s license and able to meet company driving guidelines
- Must be able to stand and walk for
extended periods of time; must be able to lift, push, carry and pull 50
pounds; ability to climb/ascend heights if needed; perform tasks that
require frequent bending from waist to floor, kneeling, squatting,
simple hand grasping work, overhead work and fine manipulation (use of
keyboard/writing)
- Must be able to work indoors and
outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat. Position
may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes
- Must be able to work rotating and varying
shifts or hours based on park hours and events (opening
, middle, and/or closing shifts, holidays)
- Must be flexible in work locations as
future placement may depend on business needs and career development
opportunities

desirable; Food Safety preferred
