reduced fee and scholarship programs. THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY Responsibilities The Food Service HC Supervisor 1 supervises represented
staff and operations for patient and retail services throughout the UC Davis
Health Campus. This position is responsible to monitor food quality, safety,
service timelines and customer service. The supervisor has responsibility for
staff performance management, development, coaching and fostering a work
environment of respect, inclusion, and engagement. Incumbent is responsible
to ensure policies and procedures for food and physical safety and sanitation
are consistently followed. Incumbent will monitor and evaluate department
operations and implement actions plans for improvement in collaboration with
department managers. Incumbent has responsibility for administrative tasks
related to staff supervision. The incumbent is responsible for interviewing
and training of food service personnel. The supervisor will complete staff
scheduling activity including timekeeping, vacation approvals and overtime
assignment. As a supervisor, the incumbent will support and collaborate with
others in the department and address conduct or performance for staff of
different classifications. Incumbent will have responsibility for cash
handling supervision and cashiering procedures. Incumbent will cross-cover in
the operation when needed. Required Qualifications
