We are currently seeking an experienced senior manager, perhaps even Director
level Quality Assurance/Quality Control leader with a food production/food
processing background.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will be directly responsible for the leadership of all food
safety and quality assurance activity in a food processing facility;
developing and overseeing a solid team and providing guidance for elevated
food safety standards by implementing and enforcing food safety and security
procedures for our facility through programs such as SQF, HACCP and GMP's.
On the technical side, you will will
lead the implementation of a Quality Management software system to take our
quality and regulatory standards to a world class status.
What You Need for this Position
We are looking for a senior level, degreed professional with at least a
Bachelor's degree or advanced technical degree in microbiology, chemistry or
food science, and a minimum 8 years of experience in food quality assurance.
We are looking for those with proven hands-on abilities and experience, and
with significant Team Management, Leadership, Motivational
experience.
We need candidates with a significant amount of food safety (GAP, GMP, HAACP
and SOPs), worker safety (state labor laws and OSHA) experience, and
experience with computer based Quality Systems.If
