Internship Length: June to August OR December 2014 We are currently seeking 1 Food Research and Development Scientist Intern. The intern will assist with the development of new bakery and confectionery products for Mail Order and Wholesale divisions using strong food science methodology and personal creativity. Utilizes appropriate software to manage and document work.
Requirements	· Possesses or is currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Bakery Science,Engineering, or related major · Must be at a current junior or senior status at 4 year college or very recent graduate (May 2014). · Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher. · Possesses above average communication skills in both oral and written form. · Knowledge in MS Word, Excel beneficial. · Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. · Able to read, write and speak English. · Able to give clear, concise instructions. · Able to work independently with limited supervision. · Possesses above average organizational skills. · Able to make decisions independently. · Able to effectively motivate operations employees.
