Description Position Description
A District Manager is a management poision on the Operations team reporting to the Regional Manager. The primary focus of this position is to organize, motivate and lead a highly calibrated Regional Quality Management Specialist team. In addition, the District Manageer must possess an in-depth understanding of the food safety business, Steritech protocols and procedures and specific customer brand requirements to ensure a high level of service to the client and to facilitate excellent communication to the regional team.

Essential Job Duties

  Calibrate Specialists at required frequency.

  Hire and train new Specialists.

  Provide performance and career development feedback to team.

  Perform a minimum of 30 hours of audits per month.

  Expeditiously respond to complaints and requests for information.

  Maintain expert knowledge of Food Code, Good Manufacturing

  Practices, and specific customer brand requirements.

  Establish and maintain effective professional and consultative relationships at all levels throughout the organization.

  Maintain the confidence of key client contacts in order to retain and increase the volume and quality of business allocated to Steritech.

  Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements Position Requirements
Must have at least 1 of the following:

  Bachelor's degree in a Science

  Bachelor's degree with at least two (2) years experience in food related work

  Associates degree with four (4) years progressive experience in food related work

  High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years progressive experience in food related work Also required:

  A valid driver's license and good driving record

  Excellent computer skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required

  This position requires overnight travel; Up to 75%. Candidates must be willing to travel by car on a daily basis and by plane as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

  Experience in Auditing, Inspections and Quality Assurance a plus

  ServSafe, CP-FS, REHS/RS Certification(s) a plus

  Consistent travel experience in a current or previous position a plus

  Strong verbal and written communication skills

  Candidates must be well organized and comfortable working independently

  Strong technical knowledge of food safety is preferred
