Senior Sanitation and Safety Specialist

****ANTICIPATED VACANCY****
DESCRIPTION:
This position is
located with the Division of Hotels and Restaurants and conducts
sanitation and safety inspections of hotels and restaurants and conducts
investigations of food-borne illness complaints. Inspections for this
position will be conducted in Citrus and Sumter counties.
SELECTION
CRITERIA:
Preference will be
given to applicants with:
1) Bachelor's degree in
a health related field; or
2) Bachelor's degree
(in any field) & 1 year industry-related management experience; or
3) 5 or more years industry-related management experience can
substitute on a year-for-year basis for the Bachelors
degree.
KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of laws and
rules pertaining to sanitation and safety inspections.
Experience in a variety
of inspection activities.
Ability to work on a
team and participate in team activities.
This
position requires a security background check.
