Food Safety & Quality Manager – Retail – Los Angeles, CA
Will be responsible for
ensuring that appropriate legal, safety and technical standards and policies
are implemented in the food retail stores, in order to protect
the health and safety of our customers and the reputation of the company, to
prevent legal action and meet customer expectations.
Will Ensure compliance with company standards for safety and legality in our stores via ongoing monitoring and auditing.
Analyze and coordinate performance data for trend analyses, reporting purposes and performance management.
Will train the retail operational teams to ensure regulations and polices are being adhered to on a consistent basis.
Work closely with third party audit providers to ensure that they deliver to established key performance indicators.
Identify opportunities to drive improvements in operational practices.
Bachelor of Science degree or higher preferred.
Scientific/technical background in food safety and quality
Trained/certified in food safety, and/or quality control.
Ability to travel 50% of time (CA, AZ, NM)
