As an Associate Scientist, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the commercialization of products from product design to production in the plant. You will be exposed to the various phases of product design such as flavor screenings, laboratory prototype development, scale-up validation, and packaging development. You will have the opportunity to work with Process Development, Regulatory, Production and Quality colleges in the development and documentation for new products, as well as exploring ways to improve the efficiency of current products.

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Make lab-made prototypes for internal or external testing

 

  • Conduct sensory testing roundtables

 

  • Collect plant data during trials and analyze results

 

  • Develop lab Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training videos

 

  • Perform analytical lab testing

 

 

Are you interested? The ideal Associate Scientist will meet the following qualifications:

 

 

  • BS degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent

 

  • 1-2 years of lab experience, preferably in the food industry

 

  • Solid technical and critical thinking skills
