Coach the day to day operations of the Food Safety / Quality Resource
Ensure that the daily HACCP and quality documentation is accurate and
Train Members in Food Safety and Quality programs.
Conduct Food Safety / Quality inspections and audits for adherence to
Identify, define and solve issues.
Responsible for daily SSOP and GMP monitoring and reporting.
Represent Food Safety / Quality on plant and company-wide cross
Develop, teach and implement statistical trending applications.
Work with the sanitation team to ensure compliance to established
Develop your skills by backing up the Food Safety / Quality Coordinator.
Interact with USDA-FSIS inspectors on a routine basis.

What You Bring To The Job:
Bachelors degree in Biology, Microbiology or a related field.
2 years of experience in the food industry.
Desire to become a future leader (potential replacement for Food Safety
/ Quality Coordinator position or other positions within the company).
Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMPs and SSOPs.
Experience working under a regulatory system, USDA preferred.
HACCP trained or certification.
Understanding of quality and sanitation systems with ability to execute
Working understanding of statistical quality tools.
Detail oriented, responsible, self- motivated individual.
Ability to work both independently and as a team member without direct
Strong problem solver.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
The ability to work weekends or second or third shifts.
Willingness to relocate to other facilities within the organization.
