Job Description:
The position will have a 75% appointment in Families Extension to
develop, implement and oversee nutrition programs for adults, preferably
within the low income population. This will include working collaboratively
with an interdisciplinary team of faculty and field staff to assess needs
and develop programs to promote health through nutrition. The remaining 25%
of effort will be to develop an independent, externally funded research
program that meshes and supports the extension activities. It is expected
that this will include mentoring graduate students and generating peer
reviewed manuscripts.
Required Qualifications:
PhD in nutrition, or closely related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Research or work experience in community nutrition, or nutrition
education, and knowledge of Extension programming. Post-doctoral experience
preferred.
