SUMMARY: Develops, implements, maintains and verifies and validates food safety programs and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Requires developing, implementing, maintaining, verifying and validating the following food safety programs.
-a.Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
-b.Recall / Trace / Bioterrorism Act
-c.Hold / Nonconforming product
-e.Foreign Material control
-h.Maintenance for Food Safety
B.Good Manufacturing Practices
E.Finished product monitoring
F.Continuity plan (food safety aspect)
H.Third party / regulatory inspection program
4.Insuring that customer and regulatory food safety requirements are fulfilled.
5.Training the staff in all applicable food safety areas.
6.Insuring that all Safe Quality Food (SQF) food safety elements are maintained.
