– Natick, MA Responsibilities:
Responsible
for providing support, guidance and education to reduce food safety critical
violations and increase overall food safety compliance. Also responsible for
the establishment and maintenance of all guidelines and best practices.
Position will supervise the Regional QA/Food Safety Managers to ensure high
productivity and efficiency. Develops, implements and evaluates inspection
programs to identify exposures and recommend corrective actions to reduce or
eliminate these risks and hazards. Acts as a liaison between Club Operations
and regulatory agencies. Ensure that all practices and procedures exceed
regulatory requirements. Maintain relationships and various programs with
third party vendors. Execute food market withdrawals/recalls and assist in
the event of any food safety crisis. Performs other tasks and/or
responsibilities as assigned. Requirements:
Requires
7-10 years experience in a food safety capacity within a retail or
supermarket environment. Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health, Food
Science, or a Biological Science is also required. Also requires strong
knowledge of federal, state and municipal laws/regulations pertaining to food
safety, environmental policy, sanitation, communicable disease and industrial
hygiene. Position also requires excellent intrapersonal, organizational and
communication skills. Prior supervisory/leadership experience also required.
