Assistant Vice President Manager of Safety and Sanitation - BJ’s Wholesale Club – Natick,
MA The

Position This individual will lead our Safety and
QA/Sanitation team efforts by developing, implementing and coordinating
policies, programs and procedures to maintain safe and healthful facilities
for our Members and Team Members. ∑ Develop,
implement, coordinate and monitor policies, programs and procedures ∑ Manage,
develop and coach all Sanitation and Safety Team Members to ensure high
productivity and efficiency ∑ Meet
or exceed the requirements of regulatory agencies ∑ Sustain
the communication link between the Home Office and Club Team Members through
the issuance of Action Memos, Safety/Sanitation Alerts, reports, etc. ∑ Analyze
and evaluate data of accidents and food incidents to identify trends and
issues. Develop counter measures to reduce or eliminate these factors ∑ Manage
the execution of market withdrawal, or recalls when necessary, to ensure the
public is provided with high quality, safe merchandise ∑ Continually
evaluate Food Safety, Safety and loss control performance and identify those
sites in need of special emphasis programs ∑ Perform
additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned The
Person ∑ 7
+ years Management experience in a Safety, Food Safety or Sanitation capacity
preferably within a retail, or warehouse environment ∑ Working
knowledge of Federal, State and/or Municipal laws/regulations pertaining to
Safety, Life Safety, Environmental Safety, Food Safety, Sanitation,
Communicable Disease or Industrial Hygiene ∑ Strong
organizational and communications skills ∑ Occasional
