position announcement. This is a tenure-track position as Research Assistant
Professor/Associate Professor of Food Science/Nutrition (Ph.D. required in
Food Science, Nutritional Biochemistry, Food Biotechnology, Food Microbiology
or related area). Demonstrated ability for effective teaching and scholarly
research; grantsmanship and publications; must be qualified to.
Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Food
Science (Research Methods, Food Chemistry, Food Ingredient Chemistry, etc.)
as well as other courses consistent with program needs (Nutrition);
initiating and conducting research in basic and applied Food Science,
academic and career counseling, directing graduate student research and
serving on various departmental and university committees. The closing date
