            Position:         DIRECTOR, RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (R&D Director - Cooked Meats)             Location:        Dallas, Texas Industry:        cooked, ready-to-eat meats

            Salary:            $85,000 to $100,000 + 15% Bonus + Excellent Benefits + Relocation

§  A fast-paced growing company supplying national restaurants chains with high quality cooked meat products.

 

 

 

Scope of Position … 

 

§  Director of Research & Development will manage Corporate Chefs and Food Technologists.

 

Selected individual must have a proven ability to create proprietary recipes and develop product matches for restaurant chains is required

Requirements

Position Requirements  …

 

§  Bachelor’s degree in Food Science.

 

§  Five to ten years of R&D experience with further processed cooked meats.

 

§  Strong experience with R&D product development flow from conception to product launch of food products for the foodservice industry.

 

§  Proven experience directing and managing R&D staff and activities.

 

Technical knowledge in product platforms or categories including ingredients, processing techniques and equipment
