The
son of a Duluth
native who died Monday says he has confirmation his father died of salmonella
poisoning. We brought you the story of 78- year- old Clifford Tousignant who was sent to the hospital Sunday after
falling ill at his nursing home in Brainerd. "When I was taking care of
him before he went to the nursing home, I gave him peanut butter every night
so he had something in his system," his son Marshall said. Marshall says he spoke
with the department of health this Thursday, and they told him he did indeed
die from Salmonella poisoning.
