Job Description

Quality Systems and Food Safety Manager

We have an opening for an experienced Quality Assurance manager to oversee our quality systems, regulatory and food safety programs in our meat processing plants located in Wilder, ID and Azusa, CA. This position is responsible for coordinating with plant Quality Assurance managers to insure the resources and programs are in place and implemented so that we can operate in compliance with specifications and regulations. In addition this position is tasked with driving continuous improvement at each of the facilities.

At times the Quality Systems and Food Safety Manager will deal directly with customers regarding audits, complaint resolution, new or improved product implementation and specification changes.

This position will also be responsible for the Food safety and bio-security programs and will work with plant staffs to insure compliance.

The ideal candidate will have food processing experience with at least four years in quality assurance and two years at a plant management level.
