Brief Posting Description
|

|
In this role you will
work cross-functionally to enhance food safety, improve product
quality/performance and reduce variability. You will be a resource to
address/ resolve manufacturing or sanitation concerns and quality issues
working with internal and external customers as necessary. You will
track and monitor food safety as well as quality metrics in order to
identify and implement improvement opportunities (YOYI). You will
participate in and coordinate selected Quality Systems audit activities.

Detailed Description
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Duties of the role
include:
- Performing Quality Systems
audits in accordance with structured processes to assure compliance
with Schreiber food safety and quality requirements. Providing reports
detailing audit findings and discussing with appropriate plant
partners and leaders; monitoring corrective actions and helping close
gaps.
- Providing support to the
Technology group, Purchasing, and other internal functions.
- Providing support to
Operations and coordinating trouble shooting of selected quality and
operational issues.
- Providing technical support
to Sales, Customer Service and customers (technical input, document
requirements, plant follow-up) as required.
- Working with plants to
facilitate adherence to Schreiber Food Safety and Quality policies and
objectives through coaching, training and monitor progress to defined
Food Safety and Quality metrics.
- Supporting plant sanitation
teams by providing technical input, monitor progress, gage
effectiveness and working through potential obstacles.
- Facilitating specified
product evaluation sessions and follow-up activities.
- Other responsibilities as
required.

Job Requirements
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We're looking for leaders
who thrive in fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Food
Science, Microbiology, Engineering or related area; Master's Degree
ASQ/CQE/CQA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience
in plant production/quality
- Skills:
Demonstrated communication skills, knowledge cheese processes, food
safety/sanitation expertise, computer and process excellence tools.
- Desire to grow and take on
new challenges and opportunities
