Solid Chemist with Food Industry experience needed for an
exciting key position! Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a
chemist in the Milwaukee
area for an immediate opportunity with a long-established, independent
commercial analytical chemistry and microbiology company. Position Summary:
The ideal Food Chemist will bring direct food lab experience, industry
knowledge and experience with various instruments and testing methods in
order to maximize quality control, customer service and profitability. The
scientist in this crucial position will be responsible for the direction,
testing, and final results of the food chemistry laboratory. This will
involve performing a complete range of chemistry, nutrition, R&D, and
quality control services for leading food processors and manufacturers around
the country, including: *Mineral, inorganic, and trace analysis *Vitamin
analysis *Proximate analysis *Fats & oils analysis *Nutritional labeling
*Drill/witness/fat claims The Food Chemist must be able to provide efficient
turnaround time, as well as a high level of accuracy and integrity in
results. A strong familiarity with AOAC methods, as well as FDA and USDA
standards, is highly desirable. This person will also partner closely with
