Scientific Resources is currently seeking an International QA Manager for a
major food company in the greater Triad area of North Carolina. This
company is a consistent leader in its field, and is highly respected for
its high quality goods and scope of products and services. Candidates with
strong experience in the food science industry will be considered for this
great direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the quality
assurance of products in international markets
-Lead the integration and
implementation of quality assurance across international mix plants,
manufacturing, vendors, and stores.
-Conduct audits, implement and
reassess quality systems reviews processes, inspect incoming ingredients,
etc.
-Approve suppliers, plants, and
vendors
-Develop and execute new Quality
Assurance programs for continuous improvement of products and operations in
the international market
-Assure international facilities,
suppliers, vendors, and shops meet all requirements related to product
safety as related to HACCP, Food Safety standards, and product quality
-Train and maintain international
personnel on SOP and quality requirements
-Up to 80% travel
Essential skills and Experience:
-BS in Food Science, Chemistry, or
Biology
-Minimum of 2 years
experience in QC/QA with a major food company
-Outstanding communication,
interpersonal and leadership skills
-Familiarity with Microsoft Office
software
-Excellent analytical and problem
solving skills
-Knowledge of international
regulations and food safety programs
