Food Safety Net Services is seeking an EXPERIENCED
AUDITOR to join our team. New business has resulted in the
expansion of FSNS auditing and consulting.
Job Summary
Perform auditing services with objective assessments of functions and
procedures for customers primarily in the meat, pork, and poultry area; as
well as other food industry areas. Conduct food safety, animal welfare,
regulatory, product evaluations, and customized audits for plants and
processing facilities. Assist in consulting and education services of the
company. Maintain correspondence and data interpretation for new and existing
customers. Perform product quality evaluations. Represent FSNS at trade shows
and seminars. Supervise or participate with special projects as assigned by
the management team.
Requirements
- BS Degree in animal/meat
science or related field
- 3-5 years auditing experience
- HACCP certification
- Industry expertise in: quality
assurance, production facilities, operational processing in a
meat/processed food environment.
- QA or food safety experience
with USDA and FDA inspected manufacturing facilities
- Trained in BRC or PAACO audits

- Outstanding oral and written
communication skills
- EXTENSIVE TRAVEL (70 %)
