Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager & Supervisor for our NEW Laboratory facility.  The FSNS (Food Safety Net Services) facility will be located in the Los Angeles area and is a result of our continued growth and expansion. 

 

FSNS provides comprehensive microbiological and chemical laboratory testing as well as quality assurance and regulatory services to the food industry.  Our network of laboratories works in all food matrices and in known throughout the industry for its outstanding technical service and customer service.   

 

 

Job Description

The primary responsibility of these positions will be to manage and supervise laboratory and business operations of the facility.  In addition these positions will have direct interaction with our customer base and communicate microbiological and chemical testing results. 

  

Requirements

  • BS degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field
  • Post Graduate degree or graduate level courses in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field preferred
  • Experience in a microbiological and/or chemical testing environment
  • Five years or more experience in a commercial food-testing laboratory for the Manager position
  • Three years or more for the Supervisor position
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
