Food Scientist

Food Scientist Job Description:
Aerotek is looking for a Food Scientist
for a well known food company in the Eau Claire, WI area.
Position Description:
- Develop and create new application work for all products within food
industry, savory flavor and yeast products.
- Evaluate the existing product line in multiple applications and define
where the product performs the best and what can be done to improve the
performance in specific applications.
- Set up and train sensory panel team for application tasting trails. Help
maintain the application recipes database.
- Will be some travel required, but nothing too extensive
- Work about 45-50 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA in a in Food Science, Biology or related field; Masters is preferred.
- 2 plus years in savory food product development or applications.
- Needs to have working knowledge of GMP, HACCP FDA, and ISO
- Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
