Management

Responsibilities
|
|
1) Oversee quality control, lab and packaging
2) Lead development and implementation of quality programs
3) Audit execution of quality programs like allergen, sanitation and
self-audits
4) Organize investigations to diagnose quality problems throughout the
production process
5) Ensure that records and documentation are maintained
6) Work as a plant contact person for customer inquiries, concerns and
audits
7) Investigate new technologies/applications to improve processes
8) Enhance quality/food safety programs
9) Improve MICS and HACCP score compliance
10) Manage technical staff and execute business plan objectives
11) Ensure that all internal and external audits are completed above
acceptable levels
12) Work within framework of approved procedures, policies, processes and
budgets
13) Implement and manage all quality initiatives

Requirements
|
|
1) Degree (4 year)
2) Minimum 5 years of experience (fresh fruits and vegetables) with
expertise of working in a lab environment as well as managing HACCP
programs, CCPs and CPs
through verification and auditing
3) Familiarity with recall processes, new rules and requirements for
fresh vegetables as well as proficiency in computers, bilingual skills
(Spanish)
