supermarkets, supercenters, department stores, drug stores and specialty

more the $6.7 million to over 700 deserving organizations. The Position This person
will support, guide and educate our club teams in order to reduce food safety
violations and increase overall food safety compliance. ·
Provide support, guidance and education to reduce food safety critical
violations. ·
Increase overall food safety compliance. ·
Establish and maintain all guidelines and best practices ·
Supervise the Regional QA/Food Safety Managers to ensure high productivity
and efficiency ·
Develop, implement and evaluate inspection programs to identify exposures and
recommend corrective actions to reduce or eliminate these risks and hazards ·
Act as a liaison between Club Operations and regulatory agencies ·
Ensure that all practices and procedures exceed regulatory requirements ·
Maintain relationships and various programs with third party vendors ·
Execute food market withdrawals/recalls and assist in the event of any food
safety crisis The Person ·
7-10 years experience in a Food Safety capacity preferably within a retail or
supermarket environment ·
Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health, Food Science, or a Biological
Science, or equivalent work experience is also required ·
Working knowledge of Federal, State and/or Municipal laws/regulations
pertaining to food safety, environmental policy, sanitation, communicable
disease and industrial hygiene ·
Excellent intrapersonal, organizational and communication skills ·
Prior supervisory/leadership experience ·
