Minimum
Qualifications: 1 year of work experience in
microbiology within food and/or pharmaceutical industries
Demonstrated knowledge of food microbiology, food
safety, manufacturing processes, material specifications, food laws,
environmental regulations, HACCP, GMP's and microbiological test
procedures.
Demonstrated laboratory skills to perform
microbiological analyses and research
Demonstrated knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices
B.S. degree in microbiology or related field (e.g., Food
Science, Medical Technology, Biotechnology, Biology)
Successful completion of a drug and background screen
Preferred
Qualifications:
2+ years of work experience in microbiology within food
and/or pharmaceutical industries
Advanced degree in microbiology
