This 6-month training program opens the door for a promising career in a vertically integrated sixth-generation family-owned food company that has proudly served its community for over 115 years. The management trainee position is available for high-energy candidates looking to build a career within our Company. Through a 6-month departmental rotation, you’ll experience the day-to-day issues and opportunities faced by our team members in the Food Safety/Quality Assurance Department at our Hatfield and Emmaus, PA facilities. Upon successful completion of the 6-month rotation, you’ll then be placed into a permanent position within Food Safety/Quality Assurance at either the Hatfield or Emmaus plant. If you complete the Leadership Development Program, you’ll also have the opportunity to be nominated to participate in the Company’s Leadership Academy which includes monthly business acumen training and further exposure to the entire Clemens Food Group, as well as learning principles of great leadership. Program Details

The first 90 days of the Leadership Development Program are intended to give you in-depth and on the job training in our Food Safety/Quality Assurance Department and in our Operations Department. As part of this experience, you’ll also receive an overview of The Clemens Food Group and its subsidiaries, including Hatfield Quality Meats, Country View Family Farms, CFC Logistics, and PV Transport. During the next 60 days of the program, you’ll gain exposure to other areas within the Company that interact on a daily basis with Food Safety/QA, including Customer Experience (Sales), Materials Management, Logistics/Warehousing, Industrial Engineering, Facilities/Maintenance, Cost Accounting, and Human Resources. The final 30 days of the program will be spent as a period of transition into your permanent position.

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive and optimistic outlook that inspires confidence and trust
• Ability to work in a highly organized fashion and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and with individuals from multiple disciplines and with varying levels of experience.
• Ability to function at a high level within a team environment.
• Excellent computer skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
