Job
Requirements:
•To assist in
directing and coordinating all food safety activities within the
plant including: pest control, microbiological testing, maintaining
and enhancing food safety standards, GMP’s, SSOP’s and HACCP. This
includes evaluating, developing & conducting extensive training
for plant employees in each of these key areas to enforce a culture
of food safety.
•To assist in
directing and coordinating all HACCP related programs, policies and
procedures including monthly plant audits, monthly meetings and
documentation of results.
•To assist in
coordinating and supervising preparation for and execution of all
food safety audits w/AIB, RIDOH and FDA and insuring compliance w/all
regulations.
•To assist in
maintaining and managing all work schedules of food safety personnel
in a cost effective manner.
•To assist in
managing and directing fulfillment of all work orders in the food
safety department in a cost effective manner and in accordance
w/company standards. To further assist in providing job training and
education of staff to insure proper execution of daily tasks and
basic elements of the Food Safety program.
