Safety Position Number: 00842 Salary
Hiring Range:
$31,352 - $43,408 Pay Band: 4 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical
and scientific assistance and analyzes in the laboratory to meet program
objectives. Supervise operation of laboratory aspects of the Food Safety and
Microbiology program. Assist in experimental food processing, microbiological
procedures, chemical analyses, and equipment maintenance. Develops
computerized records of research data and writes reports as needed. Trains,
supervises and schedules work of graduate and undergraduate students as
related to experimental procedures and good laboratory practices. Perform other
tasks and duties as assigned. Virginia
