Nutrition Consultant to assist in Nutrition and Regulatory at a major
food company in East Hanover NJ.
Job
Description:
review of regulatory label graphics for technical accuracy, evaluation of
technical ingredient data, development of nutrition and ingredient
labeling, allergen assessment, nutritional calculations and quality
control.

Evaluate product formulations

Evaluate raw materials
*
Perform nutrition calculations
*
Evaluate nutrition data for nutrient content claim substantiation
*
Maintain nutrition information within database
*
Respond to general nutrition and ingredient questions using the databases
*
Run searches on data within the database
*
Gather information for nutrition related reports and create nutrition
reports
*
File nutrition information, nutrient content claim substantiations, and
other information
Requirements
* B.S. in Nutrition, Food Science or related
field.
* Excellent computer skills
* Able to manage multiple tasks
* Knowledge of ingredients, nutrient data, and allergens desirable.
* USDA Specification management
