R&D FOOD TECHNOLOGIST – Industry, CA

**Local Candidates Only** - Evaluate and approve new packaging materials and assist Sr. R&D Manager in developing new packaging documentation such as regulatory compliance, BOM specification, production process, HACCP, package specification, etc. - Conduct shelf life studies, evaluate product stability and recommend product shelf life. - Monitor global regulatory updates. - Develop and maintaining all packaging component specifications contains up-to-date information including approved raw materials and package specification.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or related life science field - Min 3 yrs R&D exp in foods or consumer products - Knowledge of food and safety regulations is required (FDA, USDA, CFR (Code of Federal Regulation, Canadian Food Inspection regulation). - Knowledge of food package and equipments, thermal process, and strong PC skills are preferred. - Professional certificate holder (National/California Code Certification), preferred
Salary Range: $17-20 per hour Location: City of Industry, CA - Travel as necessary to participate in food shows exhibition.
