Job Summary - The Product Development Manager is a
salaried position requiring an individual with the ability to bring speciality food products from kitchen concept to retail
shelf.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for product
development
- Assist in developing
manufacturing process for new products
- Assist in developing
marketing strategy for new products
- Assist in developing retail
strategy for new products
- Manage product development
strategies and objectives
- Provide ideas and information
with regard to market trends in the food industry
- Perform other duties as
assigned or needed
Education / Requirements
- Bachelor degree in food
science or related degree
- Knowledge of food processing
and production methods
- Excellent interpersonal, and
communication skills
- 2 years of similar experience
bringing food products to market
- Ability to write reports and
correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively
before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Excellent work ethic and
responsibility
- Positive attitude
- Computer skills
Compensation:
This position will be compensated with a competitive base salary plus
annual bonus based on achievement of company performance metrics.
