Manpower Professional has an outstanding
contract-to-hire opportunity for a Food Ingredient Specialist to write
accurate product ingredient specifications.
Duties
ยท
Responsible for writing accurate and reliable product ingredient
specifications. Will facilitate projects while partnering with
cross-functional teams to develop ingredient specifications.
ยท
Will need to gain a full understanding of the ingredient specification
and labeling process, summarize and report project activity, and bring
forward new ideas on process improvements.
ยท
Will need to gain familiarity with the Ingredient Specification and
Labeling portal. Must be able to organize effectively with ability to
prioritize tasks and work in a face-paced, high productivity environment.
Qualifications
ยท
Bachelor's degree in Food Science
ยท
5 years of related experience in Food Industry
ยท
Excellent proven problem solving skills, ability to exercise good
judgment, , and strong written and oral communication skills.
ยท
Must have strong computer skills - would prefer experience in SAP but
willing to train.
ยท
Must be able to develop and utilize technical expertise, consult with
technical experts and ensure the delivery of timely, accurate and
complete product specifications.
