This Food Safety Manager will have the
responsibility of overseeing and maintaining the highest
possible quality assurance and food safety programs at a large
Cook-Chill Food Production Facility for a large school
district. Prior Food Safety experience is a must for this
position. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in
Science, Food Related Field, Business or Similar Field with an
emphasis in Food. The ideal candidate must also have HACCP,
USDA Accreditation and be a Certified Instructor of ServSafe®. This position is responsible for
assuring safe, high quality food products for our receptor
sites. Central to this will be the Hazard Analysis Critical
Control Points Plan which encompasses on-site microbial
analysis, environmental testing, U.S.D.A. sanitary standard
operational procedures (SSOP) and pre-operational inspections,
quality control tagging, performing product evaluations,
overseeing good manufacturing practices, verifying labels of
finished products, conducting shelf life studies, calibrating
equipment weekly, and training employees on food safety and
HACCP procedures. This position will report to the Student
Nutrition Center Manager. RELOCATION ASSISTANCE is available.

Position Summary:Ensures corporate and regulatory compliance
for the company's quality assurance and food safety initiatives
by pro-actively providing technical expertise, training, and
support across Divisions at the regional level. This position
is also responsible for managing the crisis resolution process
in a timely manner.
