R.L. Schreiber, a family owned company celebrating over 40 years in business, is seeking a Purchasing Manager at their new facility in Lebanon, Kentucky.

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager who will:

●    Ensure quality, quantity, and price of raw materials.

●    Possess the ability to work closely with management to understand activities and market changes, which will impact supply requirements.

●    Work collaboratively with Marketing, R&D, Q&A functions to evaluate new

concept by provide financial and supply chain feasibility guidance

●    Monitor, train, coach and review direct reports.

●    Coordinate with procurement resources to identify potential sources/suppliers for materials/services for product or product changes.

 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science in business or equivalent experience
• Work Experience: Ten years of purchasing experience in the food industry with excellent planning, project management and organizational skills.
• Required Skills
• Experience with ERP software required
• Must be well organized, detail oriented and good with numbers
• Good interpersonal skills
• Computer Skills:
• Word, MS Excel and Outlook
• Capacity to learn other software applications as needed
