Job Title Quality Coordinator

Job Purpose Statement: The Quality Coordinator supports the evaluation
& auditing, maintenance, periodic update, continuous improvement and
ongoing compliance to the food safety and quality systems at the site.
Candidates must be able to support a flexible working environment to ensure
off-shift support as necessitated by job responsibilities. The Food Safety
and Compliance Coordinator's shift will compliment
the Food Safety and Compliance Supervisor's schedule.
Reporting to: Compliance Supervisor
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Primary Responsibilities:
' Support Internal Audit program as a trained internal auditor.
' Support the Non-Conformance Program; Implement
Preventive Actions and Corrective Actions from audit findings.
' Enter food safety inspection findings from internal and external audits
into Inspection database; distribute findings to process owners.
' Maintain objective evidence and documentation to support all verification
activities
' Conduct Foreign Object Consumer Complaint Investigations and maintain log
of foreign objects
' Construct investigation timeline and analyze results to create effective
sampling plans
' Support collection of documents/records each month for Quality Monitoring
Scheme (QMS) audits
' Track revisions of allergen inspection check sheets, HACCP records, Food
Safety SOPs and related forms
' Provide support of HACCP task-specific training to employees
' Assist with group presentations (food safety, HACCP, Food Defense, GMP,
Allergen management, QMS)
' Support Nestlé Quality Management Systems and ISO 22000 initiatives as
needed
' Provide support to Quality Supervisors on validations, verifications, and
other projects as needed
' Maintain and assist with the updating of the Food Safety Management
System Library
' Execute and assist with Trace Recall Exercises
' Update and maintain food safety team metrics
' Manage HACCP Plan updates in compliance with FSSC 22000 and company
requirements
' Assist in the leadership and management of the Food Safety Team
' Track and execute all required FSMS updates resulting from MOC activities
' Support the continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System

' Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or
Engineering preferred
