Senior Food Technologists
- Location: Fresno, CA
- Salary: $60,000 - $95,000 +Full Benefits package
- Relocation Assistance is available to selected candidates
- Bachelors Degree in Food Science or related discipline is mandatory
- 5+ years experience in the Food Industry is required

Job Description:

- Collaborate with marketing and marketing research to understand and help develop consumer insights
- Provide creative input on new product design to meet consumer insights
- Planning and doing test work to optimize product design and formulation to meet project deadlines
- Management of product development activities (designing test work, obtaining resources, evaluating results with team and determining project direction, maintaining appropriate records of work) for concept through commercialization. Includes maintaining excellent communications with cross functional teams and working on computer systems such as HACCP, PDS and nutritional databases.
- Strong leadership skills to facilitate meetings and task force teams to support projects
- Lead projects with internal manufacturing and/or external co-manufacturing.
- Must be able to participate in team and departmental activities such as panels, meetings, committees, administrative obligations (phones, e-mail).
- Must be able to maintain technical skills and personal improvement through completion of appropriate training.
- May also need to maintain and improve culinary expertise by attending in-house culinary programs and/or supporting culinary presentations and luncheons.


Qualified candidates must have:

- strong creative, problem solving and organizational skills
- experience with a variety of ingredients and processing systems
- the ability to work independently while supporting the overall objectives of a development team
- the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
- Bachelors Degree in Food Science or related discipline is mandatory
- 5+ years experience in the Food Industry is required
