Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Report To: Quality Assurance Manager

Pay Structure: Hourly

Days: Monday thru Sunday

Hours:  2nd Shift approximately 2 to 10 PM – hours will vary due to business needs

 

Summary

 

Premier food manufacturer based in Northern NJ is looking for a 2nd Shift QA Technician to join our growing company. Previous experience in food processing environment required with understanding of safe food handling procedures. Have self directed and self motivated work ethic.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

The QA Technician’s responsibilities include the monitoring and evaluating of all products and steps from incoming raw materials to finished goods.  This person is responsible for enforcing and monitoring all SOP’s and Food Safety policies that have been implemented.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Thorough knowledge of food safety and quality systems
  • GMP, HACCP
  • Certified SQF
  • Knowledge of Allergen Controls. 

 

Experience Required:


Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing/Quality Assurance background with fresh produce preferred.

 

High School or equivalent
