Bangladesh: Food poisoning:
Over 100 DUET students fall sick

Over 100 students and teachers of Dhaka University of Engineering and
Technology (DUET) fell sick owing to food poisoning at a feast yesterday.
Sources said the students and teachers fell sick after taking food at the
monthly feast at Shaheed Muktijoddha
dormitory on Friday night.
"Many of them have been suffering from diarrhoea,
fever and stomach upset since they dined at the feast," said many a
student. Over 50 students were taken to sadar
hospital as their condition deteriorated.
