Kelly Scientific Resources currently has a
4 month contract, R&D Food Science Laboratory Technician position in the
Lakeville, MN area. Position would be Monday – Friday, 1st shift,
starting as soon as possible.
POSITION
DESCRIPTION
- Accurate and efficient analysis of raw materials,
in process product and finished product in accordance with policies and
procedures.
- Understand and comply with all food safety and
food manufacturing policies and procedures.
- Operate laboratory equipment in a consistent and
accurate manner according to approved methods.
- Create and revises methods, procedures and
protocols as needed.
- Maintain calibration programs and performs all
calibrations for the site to ensure accuracy and proper functionality of
equipment.
- Compile, analyze and summarize data as a review
for completeness and accuracy
- Write reports that include a summary of results,
graphs and statistical analysis along with recommendations and/or next
steps
- Maintain and documents records in accordance with
established procedures.
- Maintain complete records of
procedures followed, as well as observations and results obtained from
product or package measures.
- Obtain and handle samples from production
plant/equipment locations for analysis in a safe and sanitary manner
that is compliant with GMP's.
- Coordinate collecting, compiling, and analyzing
required technical information including, but not limited to, chemical,
physical or sensory information about products, processing conditions,
or packaging compliance.
