Food Safety Programs Coordinator






The Food Safety Programs Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Company food safety programs in compliance with Company and Regulatory standards. This includes HACCP, Sanitation, and related supporting programs.

Responsibilities include initiating program changes, communicating those changes to affected management personnel, and assisting with the application of the changes into production.


Bachelorís degree in Food Science, Animal Science, or Meat Science or related field; or a minimum of four years work experience in Quality Assurance or meat fabrication/processing; or a minimum of six years work experience in meat production including two years in management.

Must have the ability to evaluate food safety principles and requirements.

Must have the ability to apply food safety and regulatory principals in a practical industrial setting.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent negotiation and people skills.

Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Must have good computer skills.

Must have the ability to become HACCP certified.
