Work on a
variety of assignments related to the development and commercialization of
nutritional products. Plan and coordinate research runs and experiments
with other members of PR&D. Work with multiple departments including
Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Process Development and
Analytical R&D to develop formulations and processes for the
manufacture of nutritional products from pilot plant to commercial scale.
Issue quality assessment reports throughout development and recommendations
for commercialization of new and improved products. Will be expected to
clearly and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical
disciplines. Provide continued support to manufacturing as needed
B.S. required. Food Technology and/or Food Science background preferred.
Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Computer and
mathematical skills required. Good organizational skills and attention to
detail a must. Food chemistry knowledge/experience is preferred. Some
product development experience preferred.
BS in Food
Science or Food Technology or related scientific discipline.
