Our experienced staff includes both technical and regulatory consultants who are experienced in dealing with foods, food ingredients, and nutrition and with pesticide and non-pesticide products including conventional chemicals, biochemicals, microbials, antimicrobials, consumer products, and products of biotechnology.

We are currently recruiting a Regulatory Toxicologist for a Managing Scientist position in the Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of developing and executing toxicological evaluations and considerations. They will use their knowledge and experience working with the EPA OPP to assist clients with the regulatory process and potential issues. This individual will have experience in monitoring GLP studies and will apply that experience to guide new studies. Additional duties will include developing clients, managing projects and providing technical peer review as appropriate and assisting in business development and marketing activities.

Qualifications for this position include:

·         Masters or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Chemistry or related field, DABT is preferred

·         7-10 years experience in industry, regulatory, laboratory or consulting field

·         Extensive knowledge of FIFRA, FFDCA, TSCA, and related regulations

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

·         Ability to manage multiple assignments under rigid time constraints

·         Ability to participate effectively in large team projects is essential
