to move into an R&D Manager role.
In this Sr Scientist role
you will be involved in the following :
- Product, process, and /or
packaging development from benchtop to
production scale
*
- Design and execute
experiments (or panels) utilizing internal and external facilities
*
- Develop and conduct product
stability studies and recommend shelf-life limits
*
- Develop, implement, and/or
audit ingredient and finished product specifications
*
- Use statistical tools to
understand, analyze, and interpret analytical, sensory and/or
production data
*
- Strong project management
and organization skills; disciplined approach; familiar w/
Stage-Gate process
Education:
BS, MS, or PhD in Food Science or related field
Experience: 5+ years in food industry w/in R&D or
Supply Chain organization
- experience in PD, QA,
Sensory, Process Engineering, and/or Packaging roles
*
- experience with various
food product categories, processes, and packages a plus
*
- track record of leading
individuals, small teams, and external partners (consultants,
academia, suppliers) is a plus
