Food Analytical Chemist - Bioo Scientific – Austin, TX

Primary responsibilities:
The role of Food Analytical Chemist will include development of separation
methods to recover drug and toxin residues from a variety of food and feed
matrices. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's or Doctoral degree
and a strong background in analytical chemistry and food chemistry with a
strong emphasis on development and optimization of procedures to isolate
organic compounds from complex matrices such as food samples. 2-3 years of
post-graduate experience is preferred. As part of a multidisciplinary team, a
willingness to work "at the bench", high self-motivation and good
communication skills are also an absolute requirement. Experience developing,
establishing, and validating analytical test methods for sample extraction
and transferring validated protocols to production is a plus. Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and a strong desire
to work in a challenging and dynamic interdisciplinary environment are
required.
