A quality lab technician at Algood
Food Company is responsible for performing start-up checks, verifying
schedules, checking incoming ingredients, calibrating equipment, ensuring
that GMPs are properly enforced, monitoring and ensuring compliance with
all company HACCP programs, testing and sampling product, and any and all
other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
This position requires that employees must be able to work any of the
following shifts. The hours for our shifts are:
Monday - Thursday 4:00 am - 2:30 pm/2:30 pm - 1:00 am or Around the clock
scheduling of 2:30 am - 2:30 pm/2:30 pm - 2:30 am
Friday 1:00 am - 1:30 pm/1:30 pm - 2:00 am
Saturday 2:00 am - 2:30 pm/2:30 pm - 3:00 am
Sunday 3:00 am - 3:30 pm/3:30 pm - 4:00 am
Must have ability to read, perform basic math functions, calibrate
equipment, verify scheduled product, sample product, inspect product
containers, perform analytical tests, and other similar functions.
3-5 years of quality background in food manufacturing or a
technical, associates, BA or BS degree in science or applicable field is
preferred. Must have high school diploma or GED.
